The main research area is sampling theories in various functional spaces. Recently he has a strong interest in irregular sampling theories in shift-invariant spaces(SIS), average sampling series in SIS, vector sampling theories in SIS, channeled sampling theories in SIS and its aliasing errors. He is interested in not only sampling theories in SIS but also ones in Wavelet subspaces and reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces. Multi-resolution analysis and harmonic analysis are research interests as well.

주요 연구 분야는 다양한 함수 공간에서의 샘플링 이론입니다. 특히 이동불변공간에서의 불균등 샘플링, 평균 샘플링, 벡터 샘플링, 채널을 이용한 샘플링 이론을 많이 다루고 있습니다. 이동불변공간에서의 샘플링 이론 뿐만 아니라 웨이블릿 부분 공간 그리고 reproducing kernel 힐버트 공간에서의 샘플링 이론 역시 관심분야입니다. Multi-resolution 해석과 조화 해석학도 연구분야입니다.
