How to come to KAIST

(1) from Incheon International Airport

Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, please go to the Exit 8 where you can find the ticket booth and the airport limousine bus to Daejeon(´ëÀü) which departs every 40 minutes. The ticket to Daejeon costs you about 22000 Korean Won (approximately US$22). It will take approximately three hours from the airport to Daejeon with one stop in one rest area. Please get off the bus at the first stop or the second one in Daejeon. Then please take a taxi to the main gate of KAIST(Çѱ¹°úÇбâ¼ú¿ø Á¤¹®). The taxi ride of about 10 minutes will cost you less than 3,000 won (US$3). At the main gate guard booth, please call 2715(or 2755) to Professor(or a student). The building number E1 which houses Applied Mathematics Department is on your right at the main gate. In case that the local taxi driver  does not understand you, please show him and/or main gate guard the following note:

(Please take me to the Industrial-Management building(E1) which is on the right-side of the main gate of KAIST)


(2) from Seoul

Take KTX express train from Seoul Railroad Station to Daejeon. It takes a little less than one hour (the first stop). At the Daejeon Station take taxi to KAIST as above. It takes about 20~30 minutes and costs you about 6000 Korean Won (approximately US$6).
