The Division of Applied Mathematics of KAIST organizes an International Workshop on Wavelet Frames in November 24 - 26, 2005. Wavelet frames and their related fields are the main topics of the workshop. In order to organize the workshop as efficiently as possible, only invited speakers and a limited number of contributing speakers will present talks to the general audience. Researchers who are interested in presenting talks in the workshop are welcome to contact the organizing committee as soon as possible, and anyone who would like to attend the workshop is advised to register in advance.

Registration :

The deadline for preliminary registration is November 7. The registration fee, which covers the reception as well as the refreshments during the workshp but not the excursion, is 50,000 won or US$50 for professors and 30,000 won or US$30 for students. The late registration fee is 80,000 Won or US$80 for professors and 50,000 won or US$50 for students.

Transportation from the Airport :

It takes approximately 3 hours depending on the traffic, from the Incheon International Airport to Daejeon by the airport limousine bus, which departs every 40 minutes at the Exit #8 outside the arrival floor from 8 am to 9 pm, If you call one of the members of the organizing committee before you leave the airport, we will arrange someone to pick you up at the local bus-stop in Daejeon.

Accommodations :

Invited speakers will stay in either in a hotel or in the guest house inside the campus of KAIST. Other participants may find some nice hotels in Yuseong spa area near KAIST.
